Antique Limoges teapot and sugar bowl set, Currents pattern, signed by J Marsay. LS & S mark dates to 1895-1920. Beautifully hand-painted with vibrant wine, red, orange, and yellow colors.Teapot measures approximately 8 inches from spout to handle and 5 1/2 inches tall. Sugar bowl measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall.Bottom markings: red (L S & S Limoges France) and green (Limoges France with a star).Good condition for age. Some gold rubbing is present, but no chips or cracks are visible. Minor paint wear may be present. A true treasure!
