Antique lap desk. The exterior has been professionally stripped, sanded, and refinished in a light wood tone. The original finish is retained on the black sections of the top and front. Minor cracks were filled and stabilized before refinishing. The lock was previously removed, and the hinges have been tightened. The interior remains entirely original. The felt is original and shows its age.
